I don't know if this is part of the conversation but one thing we've found as our team has implemented the forum grader with grading guides, we've found that the grading mechanisms are too varied and different. It would be great if the grading capabilities shared the same UI and experience for users. So the grading system for assignments should also match the forum grading system, and anywhere else advanced grading is applied.

Thanks for sharing this with us Mike.

Our senior designer Hina will reach out to you and investigate this with you in more depth as she will be leading the Grading optimisation project.

Thank you for this initiative. Would it be possible to have a context based interface where if you click on an item, the appropriate tools show up. An example of this technology is Clickup task management software. e.g. you go to click on a subtask, it offers you a bunch of context based controls. That would also provide a clean working interface.

Hi Sal, I really like this idea and thanks for sharing it. Based on the user research we are currently doing, this user feedback has indeed been in high demand!
To allow the user to perform in context task controls, is certainly something we would like to ensure is on our future design roadmap.

Is there anything you have in mind with regards to Moodle's interface, where you feel this change in the UI would have the highest value? An example of where in the system such as course setting etc.. wherever you feel this would help you the most allows us to prioritise these interactions as we would have to roll something like this out incrementally - so it would be good to know in your opinion, where you think would be most useful to have this.

Thanks
Candice
