offline mode for Moodle

Hi everyone,

Is there a way that we can use moodle in offline mode (similar to Google Docs offline mode: https://support.google.com/docs/answer/6388102?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en).

This is very helpful when users have limited connectivity. They go online to "save" a particular course. Then go offline to work on the materials.

I understand they can just download the resources, such as a pdf or document file. But it would be nice if they can access all (or at least the most common) types of activities and resources in offline mode.

Thanks.

Have you looked at the mobile app? It has quite a few offline activities.

The simple answer is "no". The way Moodle's web UI is architected doesn't allow for this, but the app does.
