I want to restrict the course creator role from making the course visible to public or for that matter, any user. By default, it must be Hide and he / she should not be allowed to change it.
Instead, I have created a role called Course Publisher with the Capabilities/moodle/course:visibility permission. I checked and ensured that this is not allowed for the Course Creator. I have enabled ViewCourseList as well for this user.
However, neither of these settings/ configurations are working as desired. Course Creator still gets the option to Hide / Show the course. And, user with Course Publisher role does not see other courses to change the course visibility.
How do I get this right? Please advise.
