I have two questions, which are closely connected, so I'll put them together:
We have a course that multiple teachers use in separate groups as non-editing teachers. We don't want them to edit any of the activities that currently appear on the course.
However, we would like a little more flexibility so that teachers can add activities that only their classes can see.
I know you can do this by assigning a restriction based on a specific group as you create the activity. But:
Is there a way for individual teachers to create a new activity and only their group see it . . .by default.
Not all teachers are tech proficient, so is there a way of ensuring that if we allow them to create supplementary activities, they do not get accidentally posted to the entire course? Or the wrong group?
If we give teachers the ability to add activities, is there a way to prevent them from changing any of the pan-course activities?
