Will that even fit on user's screens?
This is not a limit on how much users can type. It is just a usability tweaks, so you can make the initial size of the box appropriate for the question.
Users can always resize the box by dragging the bottom corner.

so line limit when we set for essay type question is not an issue to write for student ...
They means student can write unlimited line???
and it can be visible beyond .. 40 lines .. right?
