Accessing Moodle

Hi I can access Moodle no problem from the moodle server on http://localhost/login/index.php

But when I try to access Moodle from another machine on (moodle is the moodle server name and lyitnet.lyit.ie is the fully qualified domain name)http://moodle.lyitnet.lyit.ie/login/index.php the following screen appears

as attached and when I try to login I get the apache error as attached in document.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

I have a Windows 2003 installation (moodle windows installer latest 15.zip)

As second picture in your attachment says administrator has changed configuration on server.
You should contact your administrator.
Maybe I coluld help you with this, but unfortunatly, your web page is not accessible now to anyone, I mean if I go to: http://moodle.lyitnet.lyit.ie/login/index.php, or http://moodle.lyitnet.lyit.ie, or http://lyitnet.lyit.ie I get message "The Page cannot be displayed", as I know that means that your server doesnt work, and if your server doesnt work, neither Moodle can works.

Also if you can send me a details about your RDBMS, are you using MySQL, are you using Windows, Linux or what.....

Hi I dont have the server published to the outside world yet.

I am the administrator on the server but this is all new to me!!

I used the windows installer so as far as I am aware I am using moodle+apache+MySQL+PHP

I just unzipped and followed the instructions.

go to config.php and change the root directory where it says localhost, it should be say the name of the server.

An example:

My first configuration of moodle was in an intranet so i changed the word localhost for my ip 172.21.1.179

This way i could access to moodle from another machine.
