Okay, Howard. Let's see if I understand what you are saying (based upon what I am showing in my video.)

1) The Moodle database. In my video, I add "all privileges" but this is where you probably would say, "No, only add those that are needed." (shown in my graphic, below.

2) The moodledata folder. Yes, 777 is fine for this folder.

3) The moodle application. I think that you are saying that this will normally upzip to 755, but the person should make sure that it does.

4) Plugins. Well... In my video, when I unzip Collapsed Topics, it has 777 permission. Do plugins vary, relative to permissions? Should they be something less, such as 755, or 644?
