Hi,

Is there any problem installing Moodle to a folder different than moodle?

I want my moodle system to be in: https://wwww.mysiteaddress.com/learning  or something like that.

I guess I can do it by setting the folder to learning instead of moodle - but is there any reason or concerns not to do so?

What about automatic update (if there is such a thing in moodle) or plugins etc - everything will work without a problem if I will change the folder name?

Thanks and regards,
Ram

No problem at all. Call it whatever you like.

Just an aside - the URL https://wwww.mysiteaddress.com/learning could map to anything depending on your web server configuration. That is /learning could actually be a virtual directory pointing to (say) /var/www/html/ramfreedman but, still, none of these things need to be 'moodle'
