How to grade a quiz with a letter

I would like Moodle to assign a letter when grading a quiz. Now, when I test i get a number:

But in the Gradebook setting (I think) I've assigned a letter to it:

letter

Is Moodle suppose to show the letters when testing the quiz?

If so, what could be the reason it (she?) doesn't do it?

To answer my own question: Moodle doesn't show it here. But it is visible here:

Oh, sorry this took so long -
1. Select the Course grade settings link.
2. Adjust the User report section>Show letter grades =Show

Hi,

I also have the same issue. The grade inside the quiz displays as a number but in the gradebook it shows as a letter.

I don't want the number to be displayed. Our Moodle version is the 3.5.

Go to the Coursepage

Go to Gradebook Setup

Click on Preferences: Grader Report

Scroll down to "Special Rows" click "Show More"

Select "Range Display Type" dropdown. Select "Letter"
