I have aiken format with 11 questions. Format is correct. But when i import either all the questions are not imported or answers are also imported as question. can anyone advice me?. What am i doing wrong here.
It looks like the ones that are failing to import are the ones that use ‘curly quotes’. I guess that your text file was not saved using UTF-8 character encoding, which is what Moodle requires. If you load the file into a good text editor (e.g. Notepad++ on windows) you will be able to control the encoding.
And, arguably, Moodle should detect this, and give a helpful message, rather than importing useless questions. I don't think there is a tracker issue for that yet.
