Hello,

I was trying to put pdf file in the course so after putting pdf into course i try to open it and it open only one page rest of them is not coming and this is only happening with pdf who has  more number of pages. And the size of file is around 10MB and i also try to optimize the pdf but still same result this is how it looks


So Anyone can help me with this please.

Hi Jai,
It seems that in the screenshot you supplied it is the internal PDF viewer of Google Chrome that is presented.
Unless you'll discover that this is a problem that is specific for PDF files that are opened in Moodle, it may be a general problem with opening PDF file in this browser.

This in fact an issue with the chrome browser.

When publishing a PDF you should put  Fast Web View  ‘No’. If Fast Web View is ‘Yes’, it doesn't open properly.

In acrobat reader take a look at the File - properties - description Fast Web View

Via the edit - preferences - document you can change the Fast web View to No.


Another solution can be to open the file in a pop up.
