I have Moodle version 3.8.2 and for some reason the unread posts don't display on the site or course front page. In forum tracking I've ticked Yes: Highlight new posts for me at the admin level. I can't find where to check this for each user account - when I go into each user account, there isn't an option to check this, so I'm assuming it's governed at the admin level? Is there some other box I need to check somewhere in site administration, or some other permission I need to tick?
I also don't have a column for 'unread' on each forum front page. Is this the reason the 'unread' posts aren't being picked up? If so, how do I add this particular column on the front page?
