Invalid course module ID - when trying to enrol

Hi,

I'm trying to test my group enrolment keys, and when I enter them for the course I get the error message "Invalid course module ID"

Moodle docs say that it is to do with a deleted user but why is this affecting the enrolment part of the course?

"The ID for the course module is invalid. Please contact the site admin. For some unknown reason, this happens sometimes when deleting a user. Clicking the back button of the browser and deleting the user again, makes the deleting process continue and delete the user." Moodledocs

Is there any way to rectify this issue?

Hi,

Do you use your admin account and role change to student or use a real student account, to test the key ?
Which version of Moodle do you use ?
Do you also try it on a new empty course ?

Hi, Sorry for the delay.

Using the admin account the error is ok, when using a student and teacher account it errors
Versions 3.6.2
I have not had this error with any other courses in the site.
