Can I move some users in a group to another group?

A tutor has resigned half way through a course, so I need to split her group of students between 3 other tutors' groups.

How can I select a sub-set of these students and move them into another group? Then do it again for the other two sub-sets.

The only way I can see at the moment, is to remove all these students from that group, then re-find them in the list of all students and move them individually to the continuing groups.

I am using Moodle 3.0.4 (Build: 20160509) on Firefox.

Hello Velson, I had issues creating groups and allowing self-enrollment (we have 6 groups of students and some of these students are enrolled in 2 or even 3 groups simultaneously). You can do it manually. Or use bulk upoad with 3 fieldsod username, course1 and group1
You would stltill need to remove users from a group. How hard can it be?
