We're trying to pull some relevant data from logs but there seems to be a lot of fluff (over 64,000,000 records for a 1 year time span with < 3,000 sites and ~6,000 users).
Why does one student visiting a course trigger User Graded events for that course? Similarly, why is it that when a user enters a course site they trigger role assigned and role unassigned entries for all the other users in the course site?
One example I'm looking at shows where a student user in a site has entries showing that they've assigned and unassigned the student role within the site. Students have no rights to change roles however so I assume the entries are not accurate.
This is happening on a 3.6.4+ site. I also see this issue happening (https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-50729) though it is reportedly resolved well before our Moodle version.
Any thoughts?
