I've noticed recently that I can no longer see the tool-tips explaining the badges earned by the users taking part in the discussions on these Moodle.org forums. It used to be possible to hover your mouse over any badge icon to see its name. This was actually quite useful - I bet no one remembers all the badges and their titles (and clicking on a user profile is that one click too many). Can these on-hover tool-tips be brought back?
Speaking of which, Moodle is quite inconsistent in how it does and does not explain links and buttons on hover. Take Boost and its user menu and nav drawer - no explanations shown. Add a custom menu over the top, and the tooltips are there. One of many examples. But that's a separate story..
