Can overall feedback by 'teacher' be seen by all reviewers?

Hi,

I have a Workshop created by one of our academics where the students submit a video file and they are given 3 reviews by different students, and they also give reviews of 3 other students. 

The grading strategy for the Workshop is 'comments only' - no numerical grades are needed. 

We are currently in the Grading Evaluation Phase - the students have submitted original work, their peers have reviewed it and they have reviewed their peers. 

What I'd like to know is, can the teacher provide overall feedback for an original submission that is visible by the student who submitted it and all of the reviewers? 

I can see that teachers can assess an original submission using the 'assess' button:

And they can also give 'overall feedback' via the author section:

However when I login as one of the reviewers I can't see the overall feedback, nor the feedback via the 'assess' button. 

I also understand that reviewers can get individual feedback from a teacher, but we would like some kind of overall feedback to be viewed by 4 students - 1 who originally submitted and 3 reviewers. 

Am I completely missing a setting somewhere? Or should I be doing this via the Permissions route perhaps? 

Any advice would be greatly apprecatied.

Hello Catherine.

I am afraid there is no way at the moment to easily provide a single feedback that would be automatically available to all the 4 students. You will have to copy & paste it manually for now.

It seems like a good and valid feature request though. I can imagine a checkbox like "Make the feedback available for peer-reviewers, too" or something like that. Should that be controlled on the whole Workshop level? (so that it applies to all authors and reviewers equally) Or would it be better to have it configurable per submission? (so that the teacher would have the checkbox next to each individual feedback.

Thanks for responding. In the interim we have changed some of the student permissions at the workshop level so that they can all see each others submissions and assessments. Reviewers names are hidden so that's fine, but we've opened the assessment information so that all can see it.

Yes perhaps a checkbox per submission would work and would give extra flexibility for anyone providing feedback.
