Ben, your post caused me to look a little more closely at what Sathish posted. It appears that Sathish decided to install XAMPP on a different drive, drive E:/. In general, I think this should work. However, I notice that the first folder is "xampp7.1" which causes me to wonder if on the PC, and with XAMPP, if that "period" in a folder name might cause some problems.
In my own case, I have XAMPP installed in "C:/xampp71/", no period. (Just an idea.)
Sathish, if you decide to try what I am suggesting, don't simply remove the "period" from the folder name. You should reinstall XAMPP from scratch.
