Enroll students automatically based on LDAP groups

Hello,

we have different classes (meaning: stable groups of students) of our school in LDAP database and their members are listed under ou=Group,dc=arcig,dc=cz, for example cn=s98a,ou=Group,dc=arcig,dc=cz would be one class. I (or any oter teacher) would like to be able to say e.g. that all members of the s98a group should be enrolled in the 'philosophy' course -- without creating a course entry in LDAP itself (like cn=philosophy,ou=Courses,...).

Is this possible? We are (still) using 1.4.4; has it changed for 1.5? Or in CVS? I saw there was a lot of discussion aroud LDAP enrollment recently.

Is this possible? We are (still) using 1.4.4; has it changed for 1.5? or in CVS?

As far as I know, this is not possible, neither in 1.4.x, nor 1.5.x nor CVS.
