We're using MOODLE Moodle 3.5.3+ (Build: 20181214)
There is something odd going on in our gradebook that I haven't seen before and I wonder if anyone has any ideas.
We have a number of SCORM packages that deliver lots of tests across the site and all the tests are made in exactly the same way and the MOODLE settings are set to allow only 2 attempts. However, when I go into the reports for some of the tests (not all) I can see that occasionally the 'attempts' column in the report shows attempts '2 & 3' but no attempt '1'. This shouldn't be possible as they are only allowed 2 attempts; any ideas anyone? Is it possible for a learner to clock up an attempt that doesn't seem to count in the system?
Also when this happens the grade recorded in the overview report shows the lower of the two grades (which in this case is the 2nd attempt) and not the highest grade (or 3rd attempt) which technically the learner shouldn't have had.
Weird I know .... very confused!
