Hello Moodle Community,

We are experiencing a session time out message when switching between classes.  The site administration settings are set to 2 hours before timing out.  This message occurs instantly when switching from one class to another.  Please help.  We just updated from Moodle 3.2 to 3.6+.

Your session has timed out. Please log in again.

You must tell us what a "class" is, do you mean https://docs.moodle.org/36/en/Courses by any chance?

Perhaps unrelated: upgrade to 3.6 reminded me of a stunt we had with the https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Login_token. What is your theme? Did you try with Boost?

We have about 200 classes.  It actually seems to be related to a cron issue.   I manually ran the cron and the issue disappears.  The cron script appears to be correct, it may be in combination  with our host's capacity.  I'm working on it.  For future instances, check the cron if this occurs.
