We are currently running Moodle Version 3.4.6 with Lambda Theme. 

About a month ago it started happening that when logging into the Front Page, we are getting redirected to the actual moodle login page every time. We used to go to https://www.ourmoodle.com/class and had a username login and password box in upper right hand corner of the page, now it redirects to https://www.ourmoodle.com/class/login/index.php  We cant figure out how this is happening so on the front page settings we changed it to force login so they bypass the frontpage for now but thats not a real solution. Help a moodler out ! please smile

Hi Deloy, 

Just to let you know I am also using Moodle 3.4.6 and on Lambda version 1.8.1. I am not experiencing this (unless a wrong password is entered). 

  • If you are on the same version of Lambda then maybe it's a site setting.
  • If you're on Lambda 1.8.2 then maybe this a question for the theme developer.
  • And if you're on an earlier version of Lambda maybe you need to upgrade to 1.8.1 at least.

And that was exactly the problem ! , not updating lambda, so after updating , all is well , thanks for the heads up!
