Questions by Type in a Quiz

In Ontario we are required to break grades down by the following categories:

  • Knowledge
  • Communication
  • Thinking
  • Application

Is there a way that each question in a quiz could be assigned one of these categories and then totaled up individually. This would mean that there would be 4 different scores for one moodle quiz.

Thanks for any ideas on this. Moodle version 3.5.2.

I am not the expert on your question, so I don't know.

But your question made me wonder, why not create four quizzes?

You could use the old trick. Note however that unfortunately this does not allow partial marks for each question.

I have prepared a small spreadsheet to help you define your grades, if for each question the score is either 0% or 100%, as in a true or false question:
