Hi,

I am using Moodle 3.5 from Bitnami. 

We have the following requirement -

We will be working in schools without internet connection, so will install moodle on individual laptops. 

Each laptop will be dedicated to 2 - 3 schools. We would have a catalog of courses that will be offered in all the schools. We would want the ability to sync all the laptops from time to time. 

By syncing I mean get user data about grades, user uploaded files onto a central location. If courses have been created at a central location then they must be synced to all the laptops.

I was wondering if this is possible with moodle.

I'm loathed to say "no". But certainly very, very difficult. 

There's no existing mechanism to do this.

Hi Kapil

Your application and similar ones appear in the forums in regular intervals. As Howard already wrote, the short answer is, Moodle was not designed with this in mind. So there is no prescribed way of doing this. If you are motivated to find your own path, there are many hints in the old discussion, specially in the Hardware and performance forum. Read this quite recent discussion "How to replicate in moodle?" https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=373346, for example. I don't know to add.
