Howdy kind folk,
Is there a way of selecting a 'Local Timezone' for Face to Face sessions ?
We have discovered a problem in setting up our Moodle.
Our company trains across different countries and time zones, and I have spent time creating F2F sessions across all time zones.
I have just had a college in a different 'Time zone' contact me and they are seeing the time of the session with the offset applied.
Example:
I have set sessions up in Western Australia (UTC+8), while siting in Sydney (UTC+10).
I programmed start time for 09:00 and End for 17:00
When my college views they see 07:00 and 13:00
Is there a way we can set a timezone for F2F sessions so they will act correctly to local time if created not in local time zone ?
Otherwise the session creator will have to remember to apply the offsite so it displays local time of the session.
If the above is possible, can the time of sessions (on the upcoming session page) display sessions local time and the (UTC-xx) displayed next to it.
so users not in the local time zone will see the Start and End times in session local time and the offset not applied to user local time, but the (UTC-xx) displayed next to it.
