We encountered an irritating problem last week in a SEB quiz – a significant portion of students' iPads had problems rendering the quiz page. More specifically, the navbar (we are using Boost & Moodle 3.4) at the top of the screen (SEB has a custom one that only displays the user name and has all the links and icons disabled) was relocated to the middle of the screen, partially blocking the quiz. For most users this was resolved by switching to a new question (only a solution if free navigation is allowed in the settings), but for one or two users there was no solution to this problem.
I've tried to reproduce the problem, but so far, no luck. Any ideas what's going on? Thanks in advance.
We've used SEB in 4–5 exams now, students (80–200 per exam) bring their own devices to a lecture hall, where the quiz is taken with SEB + Moodle. This was the first quiz with more than minor problems! Once the fall semester is over I can write a summary of our experiences and share it here.
