position of clock

A moodle user reported to me that 'some students are complaining about the clock that shows the time during the quizzes...in some computers it appears right over the first question'
I can't actually see it on my computer - seems fine, but it does seem to be a problem - it has been mentioned to me before.
Has anybody had a similar problem, & if so, a solution? Thanks.

No luck yet I'm afraid. I haven't actually seen the problem but it keeps getting reported to me. And as you can see, nothing forthcoming on the forums.

I can't seem to pinpoint a common denominator - OS, browser etc.. Any ideas?

I think the position of the clock is a bit of a problem, but I have found a possible solution. It seems that when the quizz is set to open in a "secure" window, the clock is positioned over the first question. If you are willing to lose that added security, at least the students can read the first question.

Thanks Richard, will pass it on. As you say, a partial solution. Will post back here if I come across another fix.
