I am using the new app (non customized).
I want to have just courses on the main page of the app, so I disabled "Site home" through Site administration > Mobile app > Mobile features > Disabled features.
Now I want to get rid of "Timeline". Can I just use CSS or I have to change the core code? Is there any way to include "Timeline" on the "disabled features" section?

sorry for the delay in answering, it's been some crazy months lately.
Right now there's no way to disable only the Timeline using the disabled features section, so you need to use CSS. Since you will only have the "Courses" option in the top tabs bar I recommend you to hide the whole bar (you should only hide the bar in that page, not in the whole app!). You can use our webapp and the inspector to check the styles to use to hide it.
