How do I assign Custom Certificate Template to a course

Hi

I am sure I missing something basic.

I created a basic Template via manage template.  I expected when I go to the course to have an option to select that template to use within the course but I get the default add cert dialogue but no choice of template.  So when asked to issue a template it's blank.  What am I doing wrong?

Moodle 3.5, Custom Certificate 3.5 release (Build: 2018051700), browser Chrome, latest.

I'm a version behind you...but I think it should be the same... once you create the certificate activity, you have to go to the activity administration area and click Edit Certificate (not settings, you did that).  Then you scroll to the bottom of the page and select your template in the Load template area.
