Adding a certificate expiry date

Adding a certificate expiry date

Hi all,

I'm using the custom cert mod for generating certificates. The certificates have a validity of either 1 or 3 years depending on the course they are issued for.

I would like to add a second date item on the certificate which shows the expiry date of the certificate. I found a topic how to do this with the old certificate plugin, but none so for the custom cert plugin.

Does anyone know how to manage a second date item to be added with an offset relative to the date the certificate was issued?

Best,

Luke

If you Edit Certificate that option to Add Elements, has the Date element. However, The Date element does not include an Expiry Date or a Custom (calculated) date. Such as, date of completion + x days/weeks/month. That would be a wonderful enhancement to a very nice plug-in.

You could add a Text element, and manually add in the expiry, date value.

Dear Shirley,

I can't add a fixed date, since then I would have to update it every day. The expiry date is 1 year or 3 years running.

Do you maybe now how to hack a calculated date into this indeed wonderful plugin?

Luc
