Moodle 3.4 Activity or Resource Internal URL

Moodle 3.4 Activity or Resource Internal URL

Hello Moodlers, I am trying to figure out the best way to add an Activtiy or Resource Internal URL.

When I click on "Add an activity or resource" > URL, I get to the settings where I have to enter an external URL.
I tried adding './course/....' but the '.' did not allow me to reference to my root directory. When I add my whole URL, 'https://mywebsite/course/...' this worked.

I am wondering if there is a better way to go about it, a setting to turn off auto-check for URL?

No, the internal addressing of Moodle is absolute, can't be relative.Simplest way, though, open the target course, item, page, whatever, take a copy of the URL of that resource and then paste it in the link dialogue. You can have two or more windows open in your Moodle at the same time, not a prob, just make sure they are all closed when you log out.
