Inside LDAP server settings, I entered only HostURL and keep rest field as it is. I do not add Bind -> distinguishedName or Context. I clicked on Test Connection. I can see message as Connection to LDAP server is successful. However, LDAP roles sync job does not work.

However, if I entered distinguishedName and password, I can see below message- LDAP paged results not supported (either your PHP version lacks support, you have configured Moodle to use LDAP protocol version 2 or Moodle cannot contact your LDAP server to see if paged support is available.) Is it mandatory to provide distinguishedName ?
First time text connection is successful but second time not. Why ? Is it depend on distinguishedName ?
