What do you call the little people icon for groups?

I'm writing some procedures for course instructors and don't know what to call the little icon that appears next to a discussion forum, with either one little person or two little people or one little person with a shadow (used to choose a "group" discussion forum vs "plenary").

Any ideas? I've been calling them "little Lego-looking people icons" but that's pretty cumbersome smile

"the groups icon"?
The Humboldt University Mac OSX compatible theme has three people in the groups icon. I recommend it.
