I'm trying to understand how grades for various types of activities relate to one another. I've got a course, with 10 units, and I want the relative weight of the grades for the units to be equal. All of the grades are based on quizzes, except for 1/4 of the grade for one unit, which is based on an offline assignment. Now for all of the other units, I know I can set the maximum grade to an equal number, let's say 20 for each unit. But what do I do with the one that is 3/4 quiz and 1/4 assignment? Do I make the grade for the quiz 15, and the assignment 5, or what?

Sounds like that will work. If you are not using the advanced features, for weighted categories and the like, then the points just total up like they used to in 1.4.
