This happened with one of my courses and I couldn't recover the grades. At the time I put it down to using beta versions of activity locking/certificate. One of our other admins had applied locks after a course had already started and that's what I put it down to but I could be wrong.
Have you been using any non-standard modules?
Have you been using any non-standard modules?
Most of the grades were recorded using Hot potatoes module- does that count as non-standard? The problem only seems to be with one of my courses. All others which also predominately graded using hot potatoes are at present normal.
I don't have answers but I'm intrigued as this same thing has happened to me.
How many students did you have enrolled on the problematic course?

Does switching to a different language help?
No, afraid swtiching languages doesn't help. Stilll showing a blank page. Almost all exercises were made using hot potatoes. I wonder if this has anything to do with it? (However, other courses also almost exclusively using hotpotatoes do show the grades OK.) Any other ideas?
Is the there any source code on the page (if you view source)?
What is the URL of the page?
Are you using groups in the course?
Thanks for your reply. I am a complete moodle novice, so some of the technical jargon is above my head. However, source code is below (i think):
URL: http://s-web2.osaka-shoin.com/moodle/grade/index.php?id=14 ( i think)
Hope you can help
