The caption background is only displayed if it has content. Review the setting because sometimes, moodle editors can have content even you can see it. Use the HTML editor instead

Set the font size using the moodle editor or if not enough, use the HTML option.

Thank you very much for your answer.
I already checked the content with the HTML editor (I suspected there might some <p> or <br>), but there's nothing. :/
Although, every image of the slider has an url.
(Just in case : the issue doesn't seem to come from my web browser either : I have this problem on Chrome, Firefox and Safari. :/ )

If you tried using the text example for the caption in the HTML Editor section then that adds the shadow.
I went back and deleted that from the HTML part of text editor <> and the shadow has gone.
