In the last release I added a feature to my Gapfill question type called Letter Hints. This was suggested by Elton LaClaire of Sojo University Japan. The question creator can select a Letter hints checkbox when editing. They then add standard Hints along the lines of "The next letter of the correct answer will be added when you press try again" (which can be automated).
Then in interactive with multiple tries behaviour, if they enter an incorrect answer they are prompted and given more letters in the box for each try.
I was wondering if this is the type of thing that could be added to any other question types via a question behaviour?
