Any idea/ updates on if this mod will ever be updated to work with the current version of Moodle, somebody else mentioned it doesn't work with PHP7, I had a little look on this discussion forum but there doesn't seem to be any updates on future versions being released.

Jay,

You might have seen this already, but Itamar released a new version the same day you posted this. It's tagged for 3.3, but does appear to work in 3.4, which means it's working on PHP7 at least to a degree.
