Why is it text in the editor looks different in use?

Why is it text in the editor looks different in use?

Please be gentle; I'm a new guy.

I'm using Moodle 3.4 with the ATTO editor.

When you look at the file "text in editor" notice the heading is centered, and there is white space between the heading and the text.

When you look at the file "front page view" the heading is now set flush left, the white space is gone, and the line breaks are different.

I've not been able to find anything in MoodleDocs that explains this behavior.

Also, I cannot bold face the last two lines of the text. What am I doing wrong?  I have to be doing something wrong.

Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.

Hi Mark

Are you copy and pasting from Word? If so, try using the Clear formatting button [ Tx ] to remove the excess code that MSWord uses as it can cause some odd behavior in the text editor. Click here for more info about the ATTO editor functions.
