Moodle in English: how to merge two courses-external DB plugin

Hi,

I am using external DB plugin in enrolment.

I want to merge two courses into one course, however, I want the new merged course to be updated with any unenrollment from the old course.

the original DB with not change, so the change must be in Moodle

any idea how to achieve this?

I am testing it, I am not sure if the unenrolment from child courses will affect the meta course

I would look at cohorts maybe.
