Hi,

Does anyone know if/how you can click on a course via the app and go straight to view all sections?

Cheers

Hi Ian,

right know there's no way to do that. However, we're doing a redesign of the app for version 3.5, and one of the things we'll do is open the current section directly instead of the list of sections.

Kind regards,

Dani

Ok thanks. What defines the "current" section?

If the course is Weekly, then the current section = the current week.

In a Topic based course, a Topic can be highlighted a the 'current' topic - using an icon near the 'hide' topic icon smile

Thanks Stuart. I know this is what the current section is in general Moodle terms, I wanted to clarify that's what Dani meant when referring to it in the app and how that would work for courses that don't use current sections.

Hi Ian,

yes, the idea is to match the web behaviour (what Stuart said). If we cannot calculate the current section (e.g. a course format that isn't supported by the app), then we will display the first section.
