Uploaded file as an assignment

I would like to see the option of using an uploaded file as the assignment descriptor.  Many of my staff have assignments in Word format.  It would be nice if they could save time by using the power of the assignment module with the adaptability of the resource module and use an uploaded file.  Currently our solution is to create an assignment that refers to a resource.

Check out the exercise module.  It gives this flexibility, plus adds some more features.

We did check out the exercise module and while we could find some uses for it, we found it a little clumsy. (sorry Ray, but thanks (m)oodles)

I still think the simpler assignment with the ability to use an uploaded file as the assignment descriptor would be easier than going through the steps associated with the exercise module.
