Editing URL

installed Moodle on my server, all the domain name and every thing is set up. I needed to change my current URL " domain name.com/server/moodle" to  just my domain name " www.domainName.com". How can I quickly accomplish that? I know that this has to do with the location of the configuration and I have some research to do. I  just needed to fix this quickly and it would really be helpful if anyone who has experienced that to assist me or send me some resources. Thanks!

Hi, what do you have in your config.php under $CFG->wwwroot

Can you move all your source codes of moodle to the top directory of your domain? If yes, just copy all files to / and edit the config.php.

1.  You need to update your webserver (normally apache) default config to the moodle folder.

2.  You need to update your moodle config.php file to reflect the domain name.

3.  You need to run the replace tool to update the database with the new domain name.
