I know this was just discussed over at badges, but the discussion was closed.
Over the summer I tried to migrate my courses to a new Moodle server. Same version, latest version.
Everything would restore, except for the badges. I tried several variations of the backup, with checking and unchecking options.
When I looked, no badges were present. Is this normal behavior under some circumstances? It there a known issue.
This is a shared host, I know it is not recommended, but has worked for my purposes for over 5 years.
