Hi,

Moodle Mobile App 2 (MMApp2)

Moodle version 3.3 on my website

I am curious to find out about how to make or customise a Moodle Mobile Theme, asuming that such a thing exists?  Does anyone know...does anyone care?

I feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall as there is little to find in the way of customising the MMApp2, let alone creating a theme for it..

Also what I would really like to find out is:

  • is it possible to get the Bootstrap 4 Carousel working in the MMApp itself?
the one on my website breaks when displayed in the MMApp2

 Thanks...

Mary

Hi Mary,

it is all explained here https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Moodle_Mobile_Themes

Please, note that the app doesn't havea theme system but you can overwrite the default styles to create your own "theme" or "look and feel"

Regarding the carousel, the only way will be including it inside a "mini-site" resource containing all the html and javascript files required. The app doesn't come with Bootstrap javascript utilities.
