PHP 7 works fine with newer versions of moodle.  I have 3.2 and 3.3 development sites on PHP 7.. You might want to check on your plugins though to make sure that they are compatible.

Please see:

https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Moodle_and_PHP7

Sandbox Moodles on a server running CentOS 7 and php 7.0.10 from webtatic (also available from ius) repo.   Versions of Moodle: 3.0.10, 3.1.6, 3.2.3+, and a 3.3

But, those sandboxes may not run the same addons your server does.

As the dev Moodle doc says ... 'test, test, test'.

Hi

With PHP 7 you can use 3.3+ version.

It is running successfully in my system.

it may work for you, but that's no reason it may work for others depending on their extensions

Out of the box, yes it will work. Migrating a site that's got 30 extensions? Then test test test (official moodledocs advice....)
