 Hi,

I cannot get past the new user on install. It keeps saying userid incorrect. I have read several posts, and have tried different things like, adding to path to sessions, adding the .htaccess to root dir. Each time I dropped all tables, and reinstalled.

After the first user form, it has me loged in as  "Admin User", but If I try to change it, I still get

"userid incorrect"

The program is at

http://66.129.123.133/~elearnin/corporate_elearning/

Thanks in Advance

Don

Have you tried setting the buggy_referer variable to true in config.php?

If that doesn't work, please drop all your tables and email me (privately) so I can go through the setup and see it myself.

The problem was a strange Apache setup where http://xxxxxxx/xxx/ would call index.php, but http://xxxxxxx/xxx (without slash) would be redirected to a completely different URL.

Plus using buggy_referer seems to have bugs itself in certain situations.

Don's up and running, anyhow.

Martin and all, hi!

I came across the posting above via search while looking for "User ID is incorrect" - a message I have started getting today when trying to view user activity reports. A few days ago everything was fine.

Should I get in touch with my host asking them whether they've tampered with Apache? Or is there a workaround you know?

Best -

Lev
