OIDC vs OAuth2 for Office 365 integration

OIDC vs OAuth2 for Office 365 integration

We're currently using the OIDC plugin to allow users to login with and integrate their Moodle account with their Office 365 account.  With OAuth2 built into Moodle 3.3 (which we're currently running) is there any benefit to using the built in plugin to achieve Office 365 integration?

Has anyone moved from the Office 365 OIDC plugin to the OAuth2 plugin built into Moodle core?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

From what I can tell, there wouldn't be much to gain from moving from the OIDC plugin to the OAuth2 plugin other than using a Moodle core plugin that is guaranteed to be maintained.  Is anyone aware of any other benefits that would make it worth moving from the OIDC plugin to the OAuth2 plugin?

Thanks

I'm just following up on this.  Is anyone aware of any benefits from moving from the OIDC plugin to the OAuth2 plugin?

Thanks
