Create a response form for students

Dear All,

I want to get student response in plain text on  a particular topic. Though there may be other usages in future, as of this moment, I want to get student option (response) on the topic they want to make their presentations.

So, each student will get a text box to fill in where he/she will key in the topic one will want to make the presentation on. Later, I will want to display the comprehensive list for all students as a table in format, student name-topic. Perhaps, I will want to download this table as well.

What do you think will be the best option to achieve this?

In the past when I wanted to give students the option to pick, and I knew what the list of options were, I used the Choice activity. If I wanted the students to be able to freely choose what they wanted to do, I created a database activity with one or more text fields so they could prioritize one or more choices.
