Moodle 3.1: Audio mp3 won't play in some questions, will in others

I've searched to no avail, so here's to Good Samaritans and Helpful Moodlers:

I made questions in a quiz. Several have audio files. All work when I preview them on my Mac.

When students take the quiz on their Dells (Windows 7), some of the mp3s work. Some don't.

I've checked the html markup and seen nothing out of order.

Anybody have a clue?

Hi Clay,

the only tipps that I can think of are much easier, I don't know if you have tried them: the audio file name should not have any spaces or special characters. The browser may also be a reason.
